Frenemies unite! In this exclusive preview of the October 19 episode of The challenge: Ride or die, Johnny Bananas and Devin Walker find out that they will be roommates after Johnny makes his first appearance in the house. “Wow, we’ve come a long way!” Johnny laughed, jokingly pushing his and Devin’s beds together. “The hits just keep coming, man!” Devin joked in response. These two have been in opposite alliances in the past on various seasons of the show, but all that could change this time around.
“He and I had a rocky past,” Devin admits. “Some may even call us competitors. I’m willing to put all that aside because this game requires multiple pairs to work together.” Back in the room, Devin adds, “I never thought I’d say this, but I’m glad to see you Johnny!”
On Ride or dieDevin is with Tori Dealwhile Johnny along with Nanie Gonzalez, making them two teams with veteran players. Considering there are so many newbies in the house, it might only make sense for the vets to band together and form an alliance of their own, even if they’ve had issues in the past.
In another area of the house, Nany also gets to work, while she is with Tori and Laurel Stucky about what’s going on so far. “I know it’s a lot of questions, but are there alliances? Who works with whom?” she asked. Tori fills Nany in on that newbie’s speech Johnny Middlebrooks made after winning the first challenge. “The speech Johnny gave is that the rookies don’t play scared this season,” reveals Tori. Laurel adds, “I don’t know what’s going to happen, that’s the problem. I don’t know what will happen in this game.”
Nany is focused and ready to come in hot. “So let’s get our s*** together and let’s win,” she tells her fellow female competitors. Brought to the show after the first elimination, Nany and Bananas are undoubtedly a major threat. We will have to see how they perform when The challenge: Ride or die will air on MTV on October 19 at 8:00 p.m.
