Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber looked like the perfect couple as they enjoyed a sushi dinner date on Friday, October 14 in West Hollywood. The beautiful couple also gave a show of solidarity in the wake of That of Kanye West recent online attack from Hailey, after the model publicly defended herself Vogue editor Gabriella-Karefa Johnson, who spoke out against Kanye’s “White Lives Matter” shirt. And in what appeared to be a rebuke of the inflammatory outfit, the “Sorry” singer rocked a hoodie with the message “racism is evil.”
The romantic outing comes as Justin’s long-time friendship with Kanye appears to be unraveling after the “Famous” rapper’s controversial antics. Not only did Kanye slap his own ex Kim Kardashian about her parentage, explosion Khloe Kardashian after she stood up for Kim, and dragged the likes of Gigi Hadid in the wake of the “White Lives Matter” shirt version, he also suspended his Instagram and Twitter accounts after making anti-Semitic posts. During one of the social media tirades, Kanye even taunted Hailey by calling her ‘nose job Hailey Baldloose’.
“It was a really low blow to go after Hailey when she did nothing wrong,” a source EXCLUSIVELY told Hollywood Life. “Justin is torn about whether or not to respond to Kanye’s insults. Everyone around him in his camp advises him against it. They all think that responding would only add fuel to his fire. Justin now has enough to worry about than getting caught up in this drama. He moved on from drama years ago.”
Maybe Justin took some of his camp’s advice and instead went for a subtle response to Kanye’s insults by wearing the “racism is evil” hoodie. According to the insider, the singer also knows that he doesn’t have to react for Hailey’s sake, because she’s a tough contender. “Justin knows that Hailey is her own woman and can talk about anything she wants,” the insider explained. “She has her own opinions separate from Justin’s. But he won’t tolerate anyone disrespecting Hailey.”
So far, Hailey has not responded to Kanye’s online attacks. Her latest Instagram shares have all been very positive, with posts about registering to vote and dressing up for the Halloween season.
