On Monday, 72 hours after the explosion of the Education Center in Kabul, another explosion occurred in the western part of the Afghan capital, killing 53 female students. The terrorists blew up another Hazara populated area targeting the area. Khama Press news agency reported that the explosion occurred near Pul-e-Sukhta area near Shaheed Mazari Road. The report said the explosion occurred around 2:00 pm west of PD 6 of Kabul. The blast in the Shaheed Mazari area is said to be a Hazara populated area. Earlier, on September 30, there was an explosion at an educational institution in Kabul, in which at least 19 people were killed.
So far there are no additional data on the explosion and casualties. Taliban officials have yet to issue a statement on the blast. Reports of the explosion came as the United Nations mission said today that the death toll from a suicide attack on the Kaj Education Center had risen to 53. The death toll from the bombing could rise further.

The UN mission in Afghanistan tweeted: “The death toll from the college bombing in the Hazara area of the Afghan capital on Friday continues to rise. Girls and women were the main victims in this outbreak and the casualties are likely to rise further. Verification by UNAMA human rights teams in Kabul is ongoing. Some media reports have claimed that around 100 students of the institute were killed in the attack. Earlier on Saturday, dozens of women from the minority Hazara community demonstrated against the terrorist attack at the Kabul Education Center in Kabul. According to the Pazwok Afghan News report, the female protesters dressed in black raised slogans against the genocide of minorities and demanded their rights.
