Viral news. Today Google Map has become everyone’s need. People use brutally to go anywhere in the city. Neither the need to ask anyone, nor the hassle of finding a way out. Google Maps works with GPS, i.e. Global Positioning System. The routes are shown with the help of satellite. But sometimes we are also deceived. We continue to read such news every day. But the case we are going to talk about today is very heartbreaking. One person died due to deterioration of GPM network.

This sad case is for America. The man was returning from his daughter’s birthday party. Father-of-two Phil Paxson was driving at night during the rainy season. He used GPS for navigation. But then the navigation system took them in the wrong direction. There were no barricades. So, the car fell off the broken bridge at night. And he died.

dark night and rain
This incident happened a week ago in Hickory, North Carolina. Paxson’s mother-in-law, Linda McPhee Koenig, shared her family’s loss on Facebook. Koenig wrote that Phil was getting directions from a GPS the night of the crash because it was “a dark and rainy night.” According to the Post, the navigation system directed Paxson to a bridge that led to the river. According to Koenig, the bridge collapsed about a decade ago, and no repairs have been made since then.

How did the accident happen?
The mother-in-law claimed the bridge had no signs or safety barriers to warn Paxson of the danger. It was a completely preventable accident, the post said. We mourn his death.
